Apperance

Color: It has a rich golden-brown to reddish-brown color. It will darken slightly over a few months with exposure to light to a more uniform color.
Grain: Fine texture, waxy or oily feel.
Variations Within Species and Grades: Dramatic shading that mellows as the floor matures.

Properties     

Hardness: ( Janka): Average of 3540, (Northern Red Oak 1290). Brazilian Teak is one of the densest wood products in the world, making it insect resistant. The extreme density helps prevent warping, shrinking and swelling.
Dimension Stability: Average, (12% more than Red Oak), due to its dense grain, very dry environments may not be optimum.
Origin: South America
Finish: Our floors have 8 layers of low gloss lacquer made by Treffert. It contains
Aluminum oxide, U.V. and anti-scratch.
Flooring available: Solid & Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Sizes: Solid ¾ x 4 ¾ RL 1 – 6 ft. Engineered 5/8 x 4 ¾ RL 1 – 6 ft.
The Engineer flooring has a back support of a 9 ply birch plywood for maximum stability. The wear layer single strip solid is a 4mm top layer glued on the plywood with the latest cold press technology.
Moisture content: 7 – 9 %
Warranty: 25 years limited warranty.
